Post-graduate Scholarships

Each year, Market Economics Ltd offers two scholarships of $1,500 to post-graduate dissertation students and one scholarship of $3,000 to a post-graduate masters thesis student in Geography at the University of Auckland.

The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage post-graduate research in the field of human and economic geography, including GIS, by rewarding demonstrated ability and lowering financial barriers.

Students enrolling in the Geography Honours or Masters degree are eligible to apply.

The closing date for Masters thesis applications is 15 Feb 2010 and the closing date for dissertation applications is 18 June 2010.
