Since his graduation John has three and a half years' experience as an Economic Analyst at Market Economics.  During this time he has been involved in a variety of environmental and economic impact projects working with policy makers and planners in central and local government and other environmental agencies.
 
John has co-authored several publications including the Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) for Auckland region.  This provides policy makers with an effective tool for analysing the economic impact different policies have on the economy. 

He specialises in statistical analysis and programming.
