Market Economics Ltd has a continuing association with the tourism sector.  For the Ministry of Tourism we have developed forecasts of tourist activity and expenditure (by type of activity) in each region of New Zealand to 2010.  We were responsible for determining the economic impacts of the America’s Cup 2003 and have also been involved in estimating the flow-on effects for events such as the 2011 Rugby World Cup, AK05, the Holden New Zealand Golf Open and the 2005 Propecia Rally New Zealand.
